CLACKMANNASHIRE COUNCIL
Clackmannanshire Council is one of the 32 local government authorities in Scotland, responsible for delivering essential public services throughout Clackmannanshire. These include education, social care, waste management, libraries, planning, roads, and more.
The council is made up of five wards, each represented by three or four councillors. You can find your ward here.

Meet the five Scottish Labour councillors who represent you in Clackmannanshire Council.
Janine Rennie
Clackmannanshire Central
Janine is the leader of the opposition Labour group in Clackmannanshire and the Councillor for Clackmannanshire Central. Janine has lived in Clackmannanshire for eight years and worked in the area for over 20 years in the third sector. Janine is the Convenor of the Audit and Scrutiny committee of Clackmannanshire Council and the Finance, Audit and Performance Committee of the Integration Joint Board for Stirling and Clackmannanshire. She is Chair of the Board for Reachout with Arts in Mind and CEO of Money Advice Scotland.
Kathleen Martin
Clackmannanshire East
Kathleen Martin was first elected in 2012 as the Scottish Labour candidate for Clackmannanshire East and has served three consecutive terms as a ward councillor. Clackmannanshire has always been home to Cllr Martin, where she raised her family. Currently, Cllr Martin is the Scottish Labour Group’s Shadow Spokesperson covering Children’s Services, and is a member of the Regulatory Committee.
William Keogh
Clackmannanshire North
William Keogh has lived in Clackmannanshire since 2012, and has been a councillor for the I Clackmannanshire north ward since 2022. He sits on the licensing board, audit and scrutiny committees, and is vice chair of the planning committee.
Kenneth Earle
Clackmannanshire South
Kenny Earle has been a Councillor in Alloa since 2003 and is currently one of the longest serving Councillors in Clackmannanshire. He is the Chairman of Clackmannanshire Licensing Board and has been a member since 2003. He is vice-chair of the Regulatory Committee, which issues all licences under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act. He is a member of the Planning Committee and has been for 15 years now.
Mark McLuckie
Clackmannanshire West
Mark is the deputy leader of the Labour Group at Clackmannanshire Council and a Councillor in the Clackmannanshire West ward. He is Vice-Chair of the Clackmannanshire Licensing Board and member of the Planning Committee. Mark lives in Tullibody with his wife and two daughters.
